Project
I was asked to reimagine a visual asset that are done for the promotions of films. I decided on doing the popular Netflix film ‘To all the boys i’ve loved before’. They needed to be done on the exact measurements that Netflix requires for their poster promotional material. They needed to showcase the overall concept of the film and staying with photo visual imagery.
Approach
I wanted to portray the high school aesthetic while still keeping true to the characters innocence. I approached it as a collage in order to showcase certain elements and people that are key in the film. When choosing a font I wanted bold like letters that were reminiscent of letterman jackets. I choose to showcase different shades of pink to be literal with the concept of the film which is teenage love.
